Austin Cookie Fest

A free, family-friendly cookie competition presented by The Cookie Museum. Austin's best home and cottage bakers, judged by a public vote and a panel of special guest judges.

Fact Sheet

What: Austin Cookie Fest: a cookie-themed community event whose featured activity is a home baker competition. Eight Austin home and cottage bakers competed in two categories, Best Signature Cookie and Best Classic Cookie, which for this edition was chocolate chip. Winners were decided by public vote (People's Choice) and a panel of guest judges (Judges' Choice).
When: The first edition ran Sunday, October 4, 2026, 11am to 3pm, with the judging walk at 1:30pm and the closing ceremony and awards at 2pm. Between 300 and 400 people attended. The Holiday Cookie Fest follows in December 2026; date and venue to be announced.
Where: SPACE512, 7531 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78757
Admission: Free, all ages. Samples free; bakers sold their cookies on site.
